I may call Baltimore home, but my weekend playground is in Pennsylvania on the lakes and rivers of The Alleghenies. It’s a close and easy drive to a great place for paddling and exploring. And whether it’s just me, a bunch of friends, or the family, getting away for a few days on the water is the prefect way to unwind from one week and gear up for the next.

May 28th is the last day to register for the Juniata River Sojourn. This year’s Sojourn is hosted by the Juniata Clean Water Partnership and will be paddling from Huntingdon to the mouth of the river where it flows into the Susquehanna. Register at: http://www.jcwp.org/annual%20sojourn.htm
